Chief Embryologist
Graduated from the Moscow Veterinary Academy in 1988. In 1993 he received his PhD in “Cryobiology”, and since 2006 he is Associate Professor at the Institute of Biology and Immunology of Reproduction – BAS. Since 2014 he is Deputy Director of the Institute of Biology and Immunology of Reproduction – BAS.
In Medical Center “Dimitrov” he is working since the foundation of the center in 1995.
He is Co-founder and Chairman of the Bulgarian Association for Reproductive Human Embryology and editor of “Embryology” magazine. He is the first certified in Bulgaria chief embryologist (Senior Clinical Embryologist) by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
He has specialized in Italy, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Russia and Ukraine.
He is a member of many international scientific organizations and author of 75 scientific publications, most of them in reputed international journals in the field of assisted reproduction (Human Reproduction, Fertility and Sterility, etc., with total impact factor 31.4).
He has taken part in the work reports of 84 scientific forums in Bulgaria and abroad. Under his leadership there are 3 PhD students and 16 master students successfully graduated.
